The studio.
For more than four decades, LA London has practised architecture at the highest level of the London market. From our studio in London Bridge, we work across some of the world’s most valuable and complex properties.
The practice is led by partners Kathryn Archer, Andrew Paulson and James Hall, supported by a team of more than twenty architects, designers and technicians. Together, we guide clients through projects that demand careful judgement, bold design thinking and rigorous delivery.
Alongside our core studio team, we assemble specialist collaborators and consultants according to the needs of each project. This allows the practice to remain focused while ensuring eery project benefits from the appropriate expertise.

Principal Designer
(under CDM and Building Regulations)
Performing the statutory role of Principal Designer under the Building Regulations and the Construction (Design Management) Regulations.
Measured Surveying
Using the latest point-cloud scanning technology we can accurately survey any type of building or landscape and translate it into a detailed BIM model and 2D drawings.
Project Monitoring
Acting as a Client’s Monitoring Architect at all stages of a project, from design review, through site monitoring to defects inspections.
Project Rescue
With a strong reputation for delivery, we are regularly introduced in a “crisis recovery” role to projects that are failing for a variety of reasons.

We have been entrusted by many established companies with long-term masterplanning or flag ship projects, including banks, oil companies, family offices and fintech specialists. We deliver high-end bespoke designs achieving luxurious work environments.
Hospitality
We are specialist designers of premium leisure facilities in hotels, serviced apartments, luxury residential developments and private establishments. Facilities include spas, swimming pools, gyms, nightclubs, restaurants and bars.
