An afternoon kayaking from Greenwich to Battersea
Lees Associates took advantage of current Covid guidelines and hosted a small group of our closest colleagues last week on an exhilarating kayaking expedition down the Thames.
Starting with a good fueling lunch in Greenwich, we embarked from the riverbank in front of Wren’s Royal Hospital. Enjoying the fresh air and unique views of London that can only be seen from the river itself, we zig-zagged from bank to bank as we navigated the 11 miles to Battersea. Fortunately the tide was with us and we made the journey in just under 3 hours. With our feet on dry land again we swiftly retired to a local hostelry for a well-earned drink.
Without doubt an event to be repeated next spring when the weather can once again be relied upon to be on our side!
